Longer previews in instant email notifications regarding new posts

Would it be possible to make the previews a little bit longer in the instant email notifications regarding subscribed threads?
Currently, there are 3 lines (give or take 1) so it's not very easy to get the tenor of the answer (without considering the fact that those lines usually begin with a quote!).
I'm not necessarily suggesting to put the whole post content, but maybe some additional lines could help?

I'm sure it's possible, however I'm not one to change that. Jeremy will likely respond to let you know if they are open to changing that.

The reason I'm replying here is that my perspective is that they can make it lengthier, but if the first content happens to be someone's quote of another post, then that quote will take up all the preview, won't it? I've never gone by whatever preview is within the email, instead I determine if I wish to go to the thread, versus not, and then do so. I.e. if it is a non-technical thread, then I may not visit, or may not visit right away and wait for some more updates.

Thanks for the feedback. They used to be longer, but this resulted in a huge number of members replying to the email (which doesn't work) instead of visiting the forum to post a response.

It's a shame to delete a functionality because some didn't use it well
Maybe sending the email notifications with longer previews and from a "do_not_respond" email address + a specific mention inside the body would help?

Both of those were already the case.
