login timeout

Since installing Slackware I have found this forum invaluable.

I am not an expert, but like to contribute when I can.
I log in, read a thread that I want to help with, think, write a reply, then find I have timed out, and have to save what I typed, re-login
etc etc.
Is it mozilla, cookie settings, or something I have to live with?

Also, is it possible to login directly to the slackware forum, or do I have to always start at the main index page?

In your control panel, make sure you browse using cookies. Then you shouldn't be logged out after a certain amount of time.

You should be able to login from any page by clicking the login button in the upper right hand corner.

thankyou both - I did have cookies enabled, but I will try enable all cookies instead of 'originating website only', and see if that helps

as for the login button, doh! why didn't I see that!
