Logging question

Is there an option that will not log you out after a peridocal time. I come back after a bit and have to relog in. I want to log in and stay in. Is that possible?

In your UserCP > Edit Options you should have the option to select "Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)", second option from top. This will keep you logged in at all times even closing the browser window unless you click the logout button before exiting.

Is it possible to not - it's not quite logging me out, but it resets. If I 'view new posts' the new threads come up with arrow-buttons where I can 'go to most recent unread post'. Sometimes I'll be on page 2 of 10 and get distracted by a link to an article and when I come back, after 20-30 minutes of inactivity here, and go to the next page of new threads, all those buttons are gone because it has decided to 'log me out' in a sense. So then I have a hard time finding my place in large threads again. I'd like it to only reset threads when I specifically hit the 'mark all read' link.

This is different from what JROCK1980 was talking about but close enough, I figured I'd post it here.

digiot,

Your session is automatically expired after 15 minutes of inactivity. While this will likely not change there is an item on the TODO that will allow you to get all new posts newer than an arbitrary time.

Ah, sessioned out instead of logged out. That arbitrary time search sounds great.
