I prefer text, rather than video. Couple of reasons.
first: English is not everyone's native language. Pronunciation of English is not standard, and therefore, very difficult to understand, for non-native speakers....
Second, to watch a video, one often needs special software installed. I do not install such software on my computers, hence, I would not be eligible to watch such videos.
finally, videos represent a stream of data conveyed in serial fashion. What one often needs is a specific answer to a specific question. With a video solution, one may be obliged to wait half an hour, or even longer, to get that information....
