I got a new computer (an Apple G5), and OS X runs better at 1024x768, so now I can stretch out the browser, and it's not so bad. You can see a few screenshots of what I'm talking about at my website.

So, I'll probably coming back more often now.

Thanks for the tip. That gets rid of the ad, but how do you remove that menu and get full-width thread viewing again?

If you right-click on the ad and nuke it, only the ad is nuked. You have to right-click below the ad where it will select the cell of the main table.
