It appears that "in-place" text editor doesn't work anymore in Firefox 3.0.1 on slackware 12.1. Works in opera 9.52. "Doesn't work" means that editor appears, but when I press "save", "uploading" icon appears, rotates forever and then nothing happens. Problem appeared during last 24 hours. Unsure if it is local issue or a site problem, but decided to report it anyway.
I had the same issue with 3.0.1, although it was sporadic. The work-around was to click the "Stop" button on the toolbar, then click "Save" again. Always worked the second time.
BTW- the problem was solved in 3.0.3. Maybe you should upgrade.
Cheers

I'm not able to reproduce this. Is it happening to anyone that's upgraded to 3.0.3?

Hi, Jeremy~
I do believe that this may be a Firefox issue in version 3.0.1. It certainly wasn't site-specific, at least not for me. At any given moment, regardless of what I was attempting, FF would sporadically choke. Halting and then re-executing the command always fixed the problem. I've had no issues whatsoever anywhere since upgrading to 3.0.3. Also, it never happened before upgrading from 3.0 to 3.0.1.

I didn't have that problem anywhere until it appeared on LQ several days ago. Oh well, I'll probably upgrade my browser eventually.
