Yes it is very odd, but I'm helpless as I'm experiencing that. Although earlier I've cleared the cache, logged out and in again but still I would give it one more try again hoping that it would solve my problem.

Will share the result here...

https will in no way impact your LQ session timeout. You should try manually deleting all LQ-related cookies and then log in ensuring the "Remember Me" box is not checked. You session will then automatically time out after 15 minutes.
