expanded forum tree view

Last post info on the top-level LQ forum page https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/ shows the newest post in the top-level forum and all its sub-forums. Not always convenient e.g. I might be interested in reading new posts in the desktop forum but have zero interest in its sub-forum forum - desktop screenshots. I think the best way will be to show the expanded from tree view with all sub-forums and last posts in them listed separately - can it be done?

Maybe try the Quick Links menu and the View Latest Threads selection.

I thought it was highlighting in the all forums view, or bold.

But it actually is the penguin icon.

Empty tummy means there are no new posts since you've last viewed that forum. Question mark means there are updates. Forget if there are other variations, but as noted I use the view latest threads menu option.
