Clicking "Did you find this post helpful?" redirects to the first page


When I find a post useful and click the ""Did you find this post helpful?" link at the bottom right of any post it will redirect me to the first page of the thread. This is highly disruptive and causes me to have to find where I was in the thread again so I can continue reading it.

Can it be made so it does not redirect users? The ideal behavior would be for it to remember your current page in the thread and your position on that page.

The alternatives are.
1. Do not click "Did you find this post helpful?".
2. Spend a lot of extra time repeatedly finding my previous position in the thread.
3. Stop reading the thread if and when I click "Did you find this post helpful?".

None of these are very good...

I'm not able to reproduce this. It's possible an extension is blocking javascript in a way that makes it difficult to keep you on the current page.

Yes, you are right. This is something in my firefox profile. I can not reproduce it with --safe-mode. Sorry for the noise.
