Anisha,

it *may* be related to the upgrades which LQ undertook earlier today.

At this moment, I see another thing which is not working, and which might be related, and am going to contact Jeremy shortly about it.
Scratch that -- it works now.

EDIT: It again does not work: when clicking "My Profile" from the right-hand menu, it randomly returns "File not Found:"

Thanks,

Sasha

Thanks for bothering Sasha,

I didn't know anything regarding any updates on LQ, is there some special thread which tells about the upgrades on LQ ?

Anisha,

earlier there was a message banner on all pages (indicating ongoing work), which I see is gone now. All *should* therefore be working as expected. If you are still/currently having trouble with the blogs, let us know here, and it will be looked at.

For the record, I just went and looked at your blog, and that worked for me, so please try again

Sasha

Looks very similar to the bug I reported regarding the profile page. You can see that bug report at the above link.

I did check the blog you indicated, and I too was unable to use the "continue reading" link, so it appears broken to me as well.
If you would like, please visit here:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ssuetypeid=bug
and post a new bug report; alternately, we can wait and see what Jeremy has to say regarding this issue when he reads this thread, and if it is related to the earlier work, he may have a quick fix; if not, one of us will file a bug report for you.

Cheers!
Sasha

I clicked randomly on the following blogs and got the same results as described above so I suppose it's not the problem with only the above mentioned blog !

Thanks for pointing towards the bug-forum, but
Right now I am feeling too lazy to post any bug report, kindly excuse me for the moment.

No problem. I vote for we wait to see what Jeremy thinks -- i.e. if it's related to the earlier upgrades.

Thanks Anisha,

Sasha

and moreover how could I know what updates LQ is having since you said

Or it's not important for me to know it, ?

To be perfectly honest, I myself do not know exactly what the upgrades involved -- "software upgrades" or other maintenance, I suppose. The banner simply indicated that upgrades were being performed to the forum, and that service interruptions or odd behaviour were possible while the work was ongoing, and that if anything strange seemed to be happening after the banner was gone, to contact LQ and let us know.

Jeremy, I still find frequent "Page not found." errors when trying to use the "My Profile" link in the right menus. After doing it 3 or 4 times, the page will "be found", and continue to work after that; but if I wait another hour or so (or some time period) and then again try the "My Profile" link, it starts being "Page not found." again.

PS - Not intending to hijack by posting on this thread -- but I did post it here because I'm going on the notion that it may (have been) be related to the maintenance the other day, as was the blog issue (?) and because I already mentioned this above in this thread.
