To the OP ... Grow a skin!

To onebuck ... Your sig sucks!

Generally ... A response which provides the necessary information for a solution (however flippant) is a good response.

Sorry, but I have to agree with the sentiment that onebuck's sig is too big, it is kind of irritating imho.

New2Linuxalso, you need to see all the posts and replies to a question, this site is *massive* and it is quite rare that a really new question is posted, almost all answers can be inferred from previous stuff. Don't be offended by the RTFM type answer, sometimes it is actually good advice.

Anyway, I'm just here because I got a nice 'Happy Birthday' email from LQ today, in the doom and gloom that is being 41 years old it was a little thing that cheered me up.

/ashamed to admit that I posted this from my iMac :-/

This thread was a disaster--until now!!! Here is a topic we can REALLY waste time on......

you'll be getting no sympathy from me today......My oldest son just turned 43

HE won't get any sympathy from me until he turns 50. By then, I might be retired and actually have time to feel sorry for him.

Alright.

OK, maybe I am being a little over sensitive. Sorry. I'll try harder.

Slackist: Thanks for the info. I'll spend more time looking around.
P.S. I can't remember my 41st birthday!!

Onebuck: Sorry if I offended you. I agree, your sig is too big!

Absolutely... It happens to all of us occasionally.

Cheers
