add members to a thread?

Is there a way that I can pull some member onto a thread if I feel this memeber would be in a better position to answer a particular thread?

You could send a friendly private message, email or even leave a visitor message requesting that users help on a thread.

BTW, visitor messages are left on your 'profile' page here. They are also the least likely to be noticed by a user, email or private messages are more likely to be seen.
