Active thread highlight

When I'm browsing a forum, I click on a thread and start reading the posts in it. When I'm done, I click "back" to return to the threads page. The problem is I often lose my place and need to spend some time finding the thread I was reading so I can continue browsing from there.

Is there a way to implement a feature that would leave the active thread highlighted until another thread is selected?

We don't track which thread is "Active" in a way that would allow this. You may want to keep the forum open in one tab and then use another tab to actually read the threads.
