64 bit forum?

It might be a good idea to have a forum dedicated to 64 bit issues.Main reason is that I am thinking about buying a 64 bit CPU and probably are too dumb to set it up.Other than that it might be nice to have a place to find information about 64 bit hard- and software.

I can't see there being enough traffic to need a seperate forum. Att the moment, there don't seem to be a large number of people on 64 bit.

If there are specific issues, they would be better off in the Hardware or distro specific forum.

My point exactly - nobody knows much about it right now and it might be nice to have the little we know in one place.

Well, if it's a hardware question post it in Linux-Hardware, if it's software post it in Linux-Software.

I would have to agree. I doubt that there would be enough traffic to warrent a seperate forum... yet. So long as you give clear subjects to your questions, or prefix all your 64bit questions with something like 64bit: How do I install XXXXX then it should be easy to identify any 64bit specific questions - and that way you could put questions in their most-relevant forum: Hardware, Software, Distros, Programming, etc, etc.

NB: Just so you don't think I'm having a dig at you in particular, I have mentioned this a few times - having sensible thread titles - because it is one of my pet peeves.

Keep it cool
