Rep:
Desktop Distribution of the Year: Add openSUSE tumbleweed.
It is really a different kettle of fish compared to Leap 42.x, at least I really do prefer it since now about 2 years with no real problems due to its bleeding-edginess ...
Browser Privacy Solution of the Year: Add uMatrix (much more Detail than uBlock, same author).
Privacy Solution of the Year: Add cryfs (nicely integrated into the newest Plasma/KDE).
Secure Messaging Application of the Year: Add Conversations (one of the few jabber based messengers featuring the OMEMO protocol)
Vector Graphics Editor of the Year: I seem to remember some KDE program here but can't dredge up the Name right now ... <edit> Karbon </edit>.
Video Messaging App. I use Google Hangouts for all my video telephone communication. I use both Hangouts and MagicJack for voice only communication. Once the initial setup is done, MagicJack works great on Linux, though it does require a very small hardware device.
Lightweight is not only about installation size or iso size, but how much RAM is needed. i.e. How well will it run on old boxes. antiX runs on old PIII with 512MB RAM.
Similar distros that might also be added are Linux Lite, LXLE, Lubuntu
