Talking Opera works for me now!

Months ago, when I used windows, I used Opera as my default browser. When I switched to Linux, I never could get it to work for me as it did on the other OS. I would try it on every distro and there was just always something flaky that made it slow as paint drying and unbearable. So, I used FF or now Iceweasel. NOTE: There is absolutely nothing wrong with FF/Iceweasel. Believe me, I've used it for many years - probably since shortly after it appeared on the scene. But, I like being different and I love Opera, especially when its fast. Anyway, after a long drought, the Opera devs finally gave linux users like me (or I finally found) a build that just flies! It's 1709 and it is absolutely wonderful on my machine. There is now NOTHING I really miss about Windows - seriously NOTHING. Opera was the last piece of the puzzle for me. It flies again - and on my Debian (my favourite linux distro ever) system no less (no sermons please ). Even though this is hardly an accomplishment I can or would claim credit for given that all I had to do was find it and install it, I am still so happy to see my old friend again. So, like it or not, I plan to stick with Linux until ? My apologies to those of you who wish I'd just go away Cheers

P.S. I'm really not an Opera fangirl - I'm just super happy to surf with it again!

I posted awhile ago and said 'thanks guys and gals' and someone challenged me on that saying 'are there any girls on here?'

I knew they existed... I knew it.
