opening mpp files in linux
Hi ..
I have a very good thing to share with u.
We run our systems on linux. And one day, out project plan which was designed in microsoft projarct plan(.mpp) has to be opened. You will not believe me , but it took me a week to find the solution.Just download the latest version of the planner.
That mpp file should be saved in xml format (in windows )and then imported in planner(linux). If anyone has any queries with the gnnat chart, please reply to this thread. You need to get another mpp2planner.xsl file which is the basic thing to parse an microsoft mpp file into planner file.
Thats quite interesting.
If you want , just check out the file and u will get it. All of it is done in xml. Just a DTD and the way to parse. Is'nt it lovely.
That makes LINUX always UNIQUE with SOLUTIONS ......
really I get answers to my questions.
There's nothing of that sought I have not been answered.
Thats Linux.
