Talking So I just left the old hag!

That's right finally took the plunge and migrated to Linux. Being as I loved WIN 3.11 (Mainly dos) I think this is going to be a great relationship!

I first tried Fedora 13 with KDE Desktop and thought it was pretty decent.

A guy on another forum I am on recommended Ubuntu. Specifically Peppermint Ice and all I can say is WOW! I am running this on my new (new to me) Asus EEE 1000HE Netbook with the Intel Atom N270 1.66Ghz processor 2 GB of ram and 160GB hard drive. Talk about a HUGE performance boost. I was like going from a Pinto to a Corvette!

Also what are some good distro's to look at?? I would eventually like something more complicated once I learn the basics.
