Cool Semi Newbie Here

Just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I guess I have been more of a searcher, just looking to find answers to questions that I might have here w/o posting anything. But since I am here and wanting to post, figured that I would start by saying "HI".
My name is Jenn and I have been using Ubuntu since Gutsy Gibbon. In the last week I have taken the plunge and switched all the way to the new 9.10 Karmic Koala. Yes that was a big switch and lots of time downloading. (just an FYI, don't leave a laptop unattended when you have computer knowledgeable almost 5yr old twins in the house) ended up having to start all over. But that is another story.
I do have 4 kids w/ one on the way on the 10th.

Not only do we use Ubuntu but I am also in the process of getting the Fedora to work on an old Mac that my husband installed, but for some reason decided that it didn't like the update that was made and now won't do anything.

So that is a bit about myself.

See you in the posts.
