nobbie on board...aye, don't run away!

Howdy!
Glad to be on board. I think it may be really helpful if I start my journey in linux world at last. I thought of a good distro to choose, but now I've decided to install and configure gentoo... no matter what. I have a lot of manuals to read, but at least I'm going to see the core and err... bowels of system with my own eyes^^. Heh, maybe I will even compile kernel? Who knows ^^" So wish me luck, and don't hesitate to help me when I would really need advice. Now I have to end ?session? (how do you call it in English - during studying, a lot of exam terms at the end of semester?) then format hdd and... miracles are going to happen...
Greeting to all!
