Talking New rookie trying to catch up...

Hi everyone! I'm totally new to Linux but very old using computers. a Dinosaur if you like... I built my first pc in the late 70's: 16kb RAM tv as monitor.... a cassette recorder as mass storage... language was basic and assembler in an 8kb ROM... mass storage starting from 5MB (my first Hard drive) to 3TB at present, first OS CPM, then MSDOS and all the versions of windows; However, i must admit that Linux caught my attention since it has evolved to be really powerful and ubiquitous. So since it's never too late to start and anytime it's a good time that's what I intend to do now. I look forward to be an active member, to learn and to share...

Welcome
Keep in mind that in Linux any problem has at least 5 solutions and that only 1 matches exactly your requirements.
