Cool Hello (sort of...)

Hi everyone!

I registered at this site over a year ago but never quite got round to using it... However i have just started a new job where i have to use Linux quite a lot, so it's about time i started learning! I've been programming C++ for a couple of years now, and have some experience with Mac OSX and as a network admin under Windows, so hopefully it's not going to be too painful (although it did take two days to get Linux working on my new computer... )

This has turned into quite a long ramble, considering it was supposed to be a brief hello! Perhaps i'll stop there...
