Should be enough to get them working together. But since you do not tell what distro, what kernel and what version of ndiswrapper you're using, I can only guess (which I won't).

do have the ndiswrapper module loaded?
I use ndiswrapper on Slackware, my.config (for recent CVS version of wpa_supplicant) can be found
here - you can compare that to what the rest of your .config looks like. Should not be too different (I enabled support for some more wireless drivers).
BTW I have ndiswrapper working with wpa_supplicant.
