Wireless connection restarts periodically

Hi!!
Im testing a Ubuntu (im come from Slackware), and i have a problem with my wireless conenction.
It works, but periodically, it restarts (reconnects) by itself and after that keep working. But while it is restarting, the connection is lost.
There is something to control that?

Thanks!

PD: Sorry my bad english

What Ubuntu version are you using? What wireless chipset? This used to happen to me a LOT with an older version, but stopped being a problem a couple versions ago. It was simply an old, buggy firmware version IIRC (Intel 3945ABG). That said, losing the connection a couple times a day for one or two seconds at a time isn't all that weird IMHO - specially if you have interference from phones, microwaves, etc.

Same as me. Works like a charm here, though.

And yes, it also works fine on Slackware 12.0 (I dual-boot).
