Being a new user to Linux Mint 12, I was able boot it up just fine on my Lenovo b570 with the only issue being that I couldn't access my wireless internet card due to some Lenovo security issues. Fortunately I found a script online that enabled me to fix this issue. I then connected to my home network just fine but didn't bother to make it a permanent fix which resulted in me having to retype the script again into the terminal. I tried connecting to my home network again but since I forgot my password I just hit cancel and didn't bother connecting till later when I had the password. Later when I did have the password and wanted to connect, it wouldn't let me connect at all. Every time I went to the network manager and selected my network, it would immediately tell me i couldn't connect. I couldn't even access the configure menu to change the setting on the network. I'm brand new when it comes to Linux so any help would be much appreciated.
