Connectivity issues with Fedora 3 and DLink-G650

I just got the madwifi drivers installed for my DLink G650 on my fedora core 3 system. The device turns on and gets an ip but i cannot stay connected. When i view the conenction chart its pretty patterned, two seconds with a steady connection and then bam gone for an instant and then back up again. Any ideas on why this would be happeneing?

What kernel are you on?

uname -a

EDIT: And... have you updated the driver for the DLink G650 yet?

Did you follow steps like the ones in this link > http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Wireless_networking ?

EDIT: Which D-Link DWL G650 card is this? A... B.. or ?

Did the card show up on the prism54 supported devices list ? If it isn't then the madwifi driver is correct for you.

What does lspci say?
