cant able to enable wireless networking in my laptop

My Laptop is Compaq Presario V3424TU, and I installed Fedora 14 on it. I have to use wireless in my campus. I am not able to enable the wireless networking function. I also tried to install broadcom wireless driver, but still not working.

I am not sure that which version is compatible to my wireless card. Please any one help regarding this.

Hello,

It would help if you told us what type of wireless NIC you have. Type in a terminal:
Code:
lspci
look for the line that indicates your wireless card and post that info here. Also post output for
Code:
iwconfig
ifconfig
Kind regards,

Eric
