Question Xen 4.1.2 Boot problem [ubuntu 10.04]

Hello all,

I am new into Xen Hypervisor and I am currently trying to work things out so that I can have Xen 4.1.2 hypervisor running on Ubuntu 10.04 [desktop version, x64 bit and kernel :2.6.32-38-generic, installed as ext4] .
I need those versions because i am working on a university project ..

Please mind that I am also trying to make this under VMWare workstation 11 [having enabled the Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT option, using 6 processors and 6GB ram]

At start i have followed every single step on this guide http://blog.davidwolinsky.com/2010/1...esting-on.html since it was the only one i could understand and make it work after many google searches :-P

my /etc/grub.d/40_custom file (customized) :

Code:
menuentry "Xen - Linux 2.6.32-38-generic" {
	recordfail
        insmod ext4
        set root="(hd0,1)"
        multiboot /boot/xen-4.1.2.gz dom0_mem=4096M loglvl=all guest_loglvl=all GRUB_CMDLINE_XEN="dom0_max_vcpus=4 dom0_mem=4G,max:4G no-bootscrub"
        module /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-38-generic ro nomodeset root=UUID=511d21bc-c6e1-4e68-988f-6cd22d01186f
        module /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-38-generic
}
My problem is that when i boot on XEN ( restarting and holding shift - > choosing xen) i get some messages ( no errors ) and then a blackscreen ..

Can anyone help me out ? Please ask me if you need further information about the problem !

Thanks in advance
