Question Virtualbox 4.2 installation in Mint15Mate to run knoppix7 in VM

What does it mean if “virtualbox-guest-dkn 4.2.10-dfsg-C 4.2.10-dfsg-C x86 virtualization solution – guest addition module source, and virtualbox-guest-x11 4,2,10-dfsg-C x86 virtualization solution – x11 guest utilities, and vitualbox-guest-utils 4.2.10-dfsg-C 4.2.10=dfsg-C x86 virtualization solution – non-x11 guest utilities are installed? Is this all of the installation for virtualbox?
I do not have an icon in menu for it.

virtualbox-4.2 4.2.12-8498C Oracle VM VirtualBox and virtualbox-nonfree 4.2 Oracle virtualbox virtualization software
are not installed...
I do not remember installing the guest software.
Have I been cracked or does the guest additions come installed beforehand?
I'm also confused over the nonfree 4.2 is it ok to use without paying and it looks like my only choice to install as other virtual box is 4.2.12
Is it ok to just install the 4.2.12 if the guest additions are 4.2.10? I don't see any 4.2.12 guest software in repos.
I'm not even sure if I phrased this situation understandably??? thanx for help if possible!

This says Mint comes with VB guest additions pre-installed so I guess you are ok.

Thanx, I just went ahead and used software manager to install virtualbox-non-free on Mint 15 Mate and it seems to be working fine so far. Knopppix 7.2 is lookin and workin good.
