This thread served its purpose, nothing untoward happened and there's no valid reason (see the LQ Rules) put forward that should make me ponder deleting it.
I thought I made this clear from the outset, I'm only basing this on what the Virtual Machine Farmers are talking to me about as a solutions provider, though Virtual is not the environment I normally take responsibility for.

You do not have to repeat every little stupid thing someone tells you, that's all. There are plenty of people out there who will tell you nobody uses Linux in the enterprise, so what?
