Power off and hibernate in User-Mode Linux

Hello!
UML seems to be not very popular virtualization platform, that's why I can't find even essential information about it.
Maybe, somebody can tell me, whether:
  1. UML supports soft power off (not "halt" via uml_mconsole)? In rare manuals and scripts is used command "uml_console cad", but, in general, it's not correct way.
  2. UML supports hibernation of guest machine?
