new VM in RHEL 6


Hi,

I am trying to create a new VM in RHEL 6. but it stop with error

"no hypervisor options were found for this connection"

ok, so like the rest of the message there, have you got kvm installed??

Hi,

Has this been resolved? I'm having the same problem on CentOS 6.

You get this if libvirtd is not running.
Check to see if it is enabled in services.

lsmod |grep kvm

Still get the error attempting to create VM from virt-manager
