mysqld processes are not utilizing both vcpu’s

Noticing the mysqld processes are not utilizing both vcpu’s on their hosts but rather just 1 vcpu. Each host is running dual vprocs, one proc is 98-100% utilized , while the other is 1-2%. Not sure why?

hello,

it's not the issue of thread_concurrency.. it's something like i have vm box and vm-team assigned to vcpu for the box.. but when i use TOP -C it says the mysql is using one cpu instead of using both cpu. and due to this my box cames in hung state every time because only one cpu is utilizing 995 and another 1% .

tis thr thread_concurrrency.

# Try number of CPU's*2 for thread_concurrency
query_cache_size = 32M
thread_concurrency = 8
wait_timeout=3600
max_connections=300
default-character-set=utf8 # force utf8
