Kernel Stripping to provide OpenVZ support only

hello to all

I want to strip my kernel to a bare minimum so that it provides support for OpenvZ and KVM only...I do not really need any more functionalities...

Could someone please suggest any site or book that will help me understand all the kernel modules so that i know which to retain and which to disable.

Thanks a lot!

Shilp

I have compiled the kernel 2.6.31 satisfactorily and even booted successfully after stripping to about 3-4Mb...But i want to strip it even further and have only the bare minimum required. Is there any possible way or will i need to do it by trial and error?...
