How to: qemu's VirtFS host folder sharing in PV-domU (Xen Linux system 4.6) ?
via record in : /etc/xen/<domU>.cfg (started via "xl start /etc/xen/<domU>.cfg") :
smth like:
virtfs = [ 'local,path=[path to share],security_model=[mapped|passthrough|none],mount_tag=[mount tag]' ]
possibly with some more steps (mpunt|fstab) in guest.
Needed to get RW-mapping (99% using the "9p" FS) guest directory (the "path" directory) to host directory "path to share".
Using NFS/Samba for this local-only tash looks irrerelevant.
The domU distro is Debian Lenny i386, which uses 4.6-amd64 kernel+initrd from the host.
