Fedora 8 is very, VERY old. I am certainly not surprised you're having problems. Virtualization has come a long way since FC8....I'd suggest you upgrade both.
If you don't want to/can't, you'll need to post some actual details. You don't say anything about your network setup. Have you checked the NIC's? Are the devices present? Do they have addresses? What's your routing table look like?
During the virtualization setup through virt-manager in FC8 . I selected default network setting . After unsuccessful network accessibility , I modidify the settings and put another network range . But not done .
Could any one suggest me , if my parent OS belongs to 192.168.1.0/24 network ; then what should be thw vnet0 [VM interface] ip range or Should I select during setup , shared network interface instead of default .
Please suggest . May be its my virtualization setup fault .
Yes . Problem has been solved . Now Its accessible from any where within the network .
I again installed another guest FC-8 on the same the partition and overwrite all previous setup .
Only I changed during guest os installation , instead of default VM net , I selected shared network (which is mapping to the physical interface / auto natting).
