edk2-ovmf secure boot and KB5012170

I run a VM for Windows 10 using secure boot with the edk2-ovmf UEFI under manjaro. Recently a Windows update error described here:

https://www.ghacks.net/2022/08/15/kb...ay-resolve-it/

has occurred in the VM. I presume the VM is affected because the edk2-ovmf UEFI needs to be "updated".. Or Microsoft needs to fix their update, which I realize is not anyone's concern here. I could not find mention of any edk2-ovmf UEFI updates or issues yet regarding this. Has anyone any information on this subject or experienced other similar issues?

I've got another machine running dual (secure) boot, which so far is not affected... and a third machine with a Windows 10 VM not running secure boot which is of course not affected.

Please don't even start on the merits of secure boot, Microsoft, Windows; there are other threads for that. This is purely a technical question for people running Windows 10 (and maybe 11) under KVM using the edk2-ovmf UEFI. I am on the latest edk2-ovmf version 202205-2.
