Question [qemu] how to specify disk image as 'raw'?

Hi there!

I am trying to reanimate an old linux installation by using the rescue mode of an debian installation DVD. But no matter what I do qemu always complains:

Code:
WARNING: Image format was not specified for './mimi-vor-slackware-sdb.dd' and probing guessed raw. ...
The command used is:

Code:
qemu-system-x86_64 -hda ./mimi-vor-slackware-sdb.dd -blockdev driver=raw,node-name=disk,file.driver=file,file.filename=mimi-vor-slackware-sdb.dd -cdrom debian-7.9.0-amd64-DVD-1.iso -boot d
What the hell is wrong here?! As far as I can see I do specify the disk image as 'raw'. Or am I not?

Does anyone here can tell me what I am doing wrong?

TIA

Gregor
