ymbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference


i get this error when i run a tool called CAdence in suse 10.3
this is the problem with the compatibility of glibc -- library files..
after doing lot of googling i got this link as a smaall help..

but here the problem is .. in step 2 he says
% srcdir=/root/zoo-src
% cd $prefix/bin
% cp -p $srcdir/zoo .
% cd $prefix/lib

but here i dont know how come suddenly a directory zoo is coming..

it will be of great help to me.. if some body explains the working in the above link .. so i can solve my problem..
