i am using redhat 9.0 and i installed wine using the latest .rpm off the winehq site. this of course didnt work with games, and being the stupid newbie i am, i tried to install winex (the free version, it was an rpm someone had made of it for redhat 9) as well without uninstalling wine, which i tihnk oyu have to do. now winex doesnt work at all bash says there is no such command like its not installed and wine cant find any of its libraries so it doesnt work either. i tried doing something even more stupid by re installign both of them but both of their install rpms just crashed when i tried and now they dont do anything when i try to run them.

iv made a huge freakin mess here so it owuld be greeat if someone could help me out. (im using the latest version of both and i only have an rpm of each, not the source).

Have you tried rpm -e wine.x.x.x.x.rpm and rpm -e winex.x.x.x.rpm as root (using su)?
