lightnb LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2003 Posts: 7 Rep:	Wine Error durring installation When I try to run an installation using wine, I get the following error message: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The install shield engine (ikernal.exe) could not be installed. ikernal could not be copied to "C:\program files\common files\install shield\engine\6\intel 32" Please check to see that you have proper privilages to modify this file. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am running this command as root... So I would assume this isn't a permissions issue, right? Thanks for any assistance, Nick M. Rahl ( I am running Redhat 9 on an AMD XP 2400+, W/ 512 DDR RAM)
