Windows installation

For all the semi-windows people. I have Mandrake 10 on my desktop, and need to install Windows on another partition. Can I control the partition process so it doesn't wipe out linux while installing windows?

Depending on the Windows version. It's used to (over-)take the whole space!
It's possible to define a partition, but very dangerous, so make a backup of your data.

And Windows kill every boot manager, so save the mbr or have a Linux boot floppy/CD to reinstall the boot manager (lilo/grub) and add Windows as an option.
