TMPGEnc (I don't mean TMPGEnc DVD Author) can't hold a candle to AvideMux2. I tried both and TMPGEnc just can't do everything that AvideMux2. can do.

Is there a professional solution for music production on a linux based system? Like e.g. emagic Logic or Steinberg Cubase SX? I think this is the only software i miss. still lacking.

It's actually here: http://www.realsoft.com
The other one says 'site not found'.

If you need 3D in Linux, MaddDog696, how about Maya?

Winiso
Wordweb offline dictionary program
Acronis Partition Manager
Adobe Photoshop Album
TrackerV3 (Explorer replacement)
Steganos Security Suite
dBpowerAMP Music Converter
Norton Systemworks for Linux
Spybot Search and Destroy
AdAware
DirectX9
EndItAll task manager
Unknown Device Identifier by huntersoft
PEBuilder
Windows Update (just kidding!)
What would be great about all this is the necessary realization by those (ahem) with blinders on
that Linux is GOING to take over, and they had better get moving to catch up. Imagine Norton falling all over themselves to write a suite of programs for Linux. Hee hee!

So maybe we should hope for OpenGL to become the world-wide gaming standard? ;-P
