"425 Security: Bad IP connecting."

This is what users get when logging into my FTP server and typing "ls". Local users that is, not anon. I am also trying to chroot them to their home directory, but thsi problem occures even when I remove the 2 lines from the config file that enables the chroot'ing.

I know this is a blunt question, but what causes this (besides a Bad Ip connecting").

hosts.allow has a

vsftpd: ALL

line, but i dont think thats the issue as users can connect and login.

Thanks
Greg

Please? I've looked everywhere I could find and no mention of this.
