video in full screen with mplayer on damn small linux

Hello everyone. I am trying to get videos to play in full screen taking up the entire screen with MPlayer in Damn Small Linux. However, when I set MPlayer to full screen mode, the video stays the same size, and I have black surrounding it. I never had this problem before.
