Ok quick question I have just installed the newiest version of Gaim .82 I think it is my question is I go to run it in it looks like it is going to run but then just quits no visiable errors or anything not sure what the problem is if anyone can help thank
btw using slack 9.1 and I used pkgtool to install it never had this problem upgrading gaim before so any help is appcreated
I've had this problem when I install new versions of gaim. Either it wont work, or it will run the old version. What I did was change the link in my gaim icon from "gaim" to "/usr/bin/gaim". That should work. If you are starting it from a terminal, or from Run Command, just type /usr/bin/gaim.
