Unable to mount loop filesystem error with PCLinuxOS Pr9.1

Loading compressed loop module: [LOADED]
mounting loop image on /initrd/loopfs: mount: Mounting
/dev/loop/0 on /initrd/loopfs failed: invalid argument

ERROR: Unable to mount loop filesystem,
Dropping you to a limited shell.

I get that error when attempting to boot the PCLinuxOS Preview 9.1 LiveCD on my Dell Inspiron 9300 with a CD/RW/DVD Combo drive. Anyone have any idea how to resolve this? I've asked around in the PCLinuxOS forums and they know of the error but don't have a fix yet. I've tried the following commands as well as the default:
livecd union=no nolapic noapic
livecd nolapic noapic
livecd nolapic noapic acpi=no

I have a healthy ext3 partition ready along side an NTFS part with WinXP Pro. Any help would be appreciated!
