Hello. I'm totally new to linux, so please bare with me. I was doing apt-get install mplayer-386, and it gave me the error:
"failed to fetch http us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/libg/libgii/libgii0_0.8.5-2i386.deb MD5Sum mismatch"
anyone have a workaround? I'm trying to install mplayer using the Unofficial Ubuntu Guide, updated as recently as 7/8/05, but it's not working! Aarrrgh!
