Trouble Ticketing System

I have found this software for Trouble ticket http://opentt.sourceforge.net based on LAMP, otrs and phpMyFAQ.

Do you know this software ? What do you think it ? Do you Know others equal softwares or better ?

I've looked over it before, but it was far too intense for what we need. We've got phpSupportTicket running, available from http://www.phpsupporttickets.com/ which is very easy to install, configure, and customise, and is very quick too. Depends on what kind of environment you're going to be using it in and what kind of expansion of the UHD you're going looking at over the next 18 months or so.

My environment have to support more than 1500 ticket request in a day, it's fine phpsupporttickets for my work ?

It would handle it, but dealing with that many requests probably means you need the extra features of opentt I'd guess. Give them both a go, it's not hard to get them installed, and then play with different features to see which one you find easier to use. That's important at the end of the day if it's you primary focus for supporting users.
