I am having issues with tigervnc and its programs vncconfig, vncviewer etc. We, that's 4-5 users, run multiple VNC screens on a remote VPS. We like to show our screens to our colleagues, either for sharing with full access for mouse and keyboard, or then just for viewing (-ViewOnly -Shared). At times we even use several VNC screens nested inside a primary VNC screen (the 'primary' being the one we connect to remotely, as we run everything on a VPS).

- How does one use vncconfig ? Who is permitted to use vncconfig on a given VNC session ? The PID owner, or the user with the VNC right password ?

- How does one add (or remove) full sharing to a running VNC session ?

- Is there somewhere on the web a good documentation for tigervnc about the here necessary options and parameters such as : AlwaysShared - NeverShared - DisconnectClients - dontdisconnect - donnotdisconnect - etc...

- And importantly, is there somewhere a good explanation for the right syntax in using vncserver, Xvnc, vncconfig and vncviewer together with these goodies listed above ?

The current manuals are just too vague I feel - and yes, i did my RTFM...

We use on the server side slackware 14.1 and tigervnc v1.4.3, while on the clients side it's anything from linux to Windows to Mac OS-X with tigervnc v1.4.3 and v1.6.
